"DAS VIERTE" and "mango tv" have added Hollywood and lifestyle stations to Vodafone MobileTV

Düsseldorf, 22 February 2007. Vodafone has extended its Vodafone MobileTV service to include the "DAS VIERTE" entertainment channel plus big-screen blockbusters and popular series from the American dream factory. The lifestyle station "mango tv" adds a colourful and trendy mix of lifestyle, comedy and soaps to the existing TV programme.

Vodafone has introduced the Hollywood station, "DAS VIERTE", to give its MobileTV customers a taste of the legendary classics, blockbusters, melodramas and western hits. The new entertainment channel is also an absolute must for TV series fans, who get another chance to watch their 70s, 80s and 90s heroes such as "Charlie's Angels", "Knight Rider" and the "Beverly Hills 90210" crew. Vodafone customers also have the opportunity to take a glimpse behind the scenes of the Hollywood dream factory. "CUT! - Das Kinomagazin" and "making of" documentaries, plus celebrity interviews deliver a close-up MobileTV experience of the movie business on their mobile phone displays.The "mango tv" lifestyle station is ideal for people who are interested in tolerance, trends and fun. "mango tv" offers a varied range of programmes, including short films, series, interviews, comedy, music and documentation covering all genres of lifestyle TV.

"DAS VIERTE" and "mango tv" take the number of channels on Vodafone MobileTV up to a total of 31. A 3G mobile phone, a Vodafone customer contract with a UMTS tariff and 3G network coverage are necessary to use the Vodafone MobileTV service. Vodafone already offers 3G network coverage in 2,000 German towns and cities.
