2ergo, the AIM listed provider of convergent mobile communication solutions, has announced a five year contract with O2 for the provision of mobile marketing services, underpinned by its recently launched MultiSend interactive messaging suite.

MultiSend will enable the mobile communications giant, O2, to revolutionise the way it engages with its 17.8 million customers using a range of personalised and interactive SMS, MMS and email messaging features, via a single application.

Having already completed a number of successful campaigns, 2ergo’s MultiSend suite will be introduced across O2’s marketing teams, and plans are in place to use this leading technology to deliver the mobile network operator’s core digital marketing programme.

Andrew Day, Head of CRM at O2, said: “We see real potential in MultiSend, it will allow us to enhance further the O2 experience, communicating and interacting with all of our customers on a truly one-on-one basis. At a practical level, MultiSend gives us the capability to streamline the many processes involved in delivering multi-media and interactive campaigns to just a single application.” » read more »

2ergo, the AIM listed provider of convergent mobile communication solutions, has announced that Multimap, one of the world’s leading providers of mapping and location-based services, has become the first company to deploy its Payforit service across all UK networks - the new mobile payment scheme being introduced by the UK network operators.

As an Accredited Payment Intermediary and the first company to gain full network connectivity for its Payforit service, 2ergo will enable Multimap customers to have content and service downloads charged to their mobile phones in a safe and transparent environment no matter which mobile operator consumers are on.

Developed through a strategic UK cross-mobile network operator initiative, Payforit will improve the consumer experience for one-time and subscription services purchased via the mobile internet by introducing a secure and unified approach to mobile purchases.

Barry Sharples, Joint CEO of 2ergo comments: “We are very pleased to have the first customer go live with Payforit across all UK mobile networks. It will be of great benefit to both consumers and the mobile industry alike. » read more »
