Amp’d Mobile, a provider of fully integrated mobile entertainment, today announced that its strong activity during the first quarter of 2007 has driven subscriber figures forward, now approaching the 200,000 mark. With even more customer activations in the first quarter of 2007 than the fourth quarter of 2006, Amp’d continues to attract subscribers with its mobile entertainment offerings.

Strong ongoing sales and a solid retail distribution network led to 84,000 new activations in the first quarter of 2007. 84% of the Amp’d userbase is comprised of post-paid subscribers.
Fox Reality, an all-reality, all-the-time network, has entered into its first mobile deal with Amp'd Mobile, the pioneer of integrated mobile entertainment, to bring Amp'd Live subscribers linear TV and on-demand video content from Fox Reality's most popular original and acquired series. The service launches April 16.
The year-and-a-half-old Fox Reality is already one of the most successful new network launches in television history, surpassing more than 35 million television homes. Beginning this month, Fox Reality will begin providing Amp'd customers with as many as four hours of reality content per day including clips, interviews and reality news updates from Fox Reality's popular daily show “Reality Remix” and highlights from original series including “The Academy,” “Solitary 2.0” and “Rob & Amber: Against the Odds,” among many others.
