 <description>&lt;p&gt;October 8, 2007 -- Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) today announced the launch of infrastructure and device platforms for WCDMA/HSPA in the 2.6GHz frequency band. The move is triggered by strong market interest and supports the growth of mobile broadband worldwide.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The launch of HSPA products for the 2.6GHz frequency band provides an immediate and secure choice for operators planning to offer mobile broadband services in this band.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The initiative also follows increased interest from mobile device manufacturers in launching HSPA devices for the 2.6GHz band. In turn, Ericsson is adding 2.6GHz support to its successful family of WCDMA/HSPA device platforms and mobile broadband modules for use in notebook computers.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Ericsson New WCDMA/HSPA Network Supplier for Elisa in Finland</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;August 13, 2007, 13:00 (CET) -- Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has been chosen by Finnish operator Elisa to deliver WCDMA/HSPA network equipment, taking the longstanding relationship between the two companies to a new level. The expansion will virtually double the coverage and capacity of Elisa&#039;s existing WCDMA/HSPA network.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Under the contract, Ericsson will more than double the number of radio base stations in the Elisa network over the coming year. By the end of the year, more than 120 towns and cities will have 3G coverage, strengthening Elisa&#039;s position as a leading Finnish 3G/HSPA network operator and service provider. Elisa chose Ericsson for the expansion project following a successful pilot that concluded earlier this year.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ericsson&#039;s High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA) solution provides increased data speeds by introducing enhancements in the uplink and the downlink. The advanced technology boosts network capacity and cuts response times for interactive services, increasing the performance of mobile broadband.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Qualcomm is the Largest User of Nokia Technology, Patents</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;ESPOO, Finland, April 13/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nokia (NYSE: NOK) today rejected Qualcomm&#039;s public statements that it does not use Nokia patents. Nokia has for the last fifteen years contributed its technology to industry standards, such as GSM, WCDMA and CDMA. If Qualcomm&#039;s products comply with industry standards it is in the same position as any other supplier of mobile technology in that it needs access to Nokia&#039;s patents covering standardized technologies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nokia believes that Qualcomm is currently using over one hundred of Nokia&#039;s GSM/WCDMA and CDMA2000 essential patents in its chipsets. Nokia and Qualcomm are yet to agree on the compensation payable by Qualcomm for such patents. With its more than 200 million units annually, Qualcomm is the largest user in the world of Nokia&#039;s technology and patents. Nokia&#039;s request for royalty payments from Qualcomm is based on royalty levels which are fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND).&lt;/p&gt;
