Boston, Mass., February 12, 2008 -- The nation's leading cell phone makers, service providers, and retailers have teamed up with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the States to answer the call for easy cell phone recycling in New England. Cannes, France – 27th January – Sony Ericsson today unveiled the next stage in the evolution of PlayNow™ arena, its popular over-the-air (OTA) download service. At the MIDEM conference in Cannes, Sony Ericsson announced deals with 10 major record labels, adding over 5 million new tracks to its extensive catalogue. Sony Ericsson also unveiled the design and URL for PlayNow™ arena and launched PlayNow™ Uncut, (formerly M-Buzz™) a music promotional space for new, unsigned and developing artists.

Top Ten List: Sony Ericsson’s latest music mobile is best-selling phone in Telia’s retail stores during April

In April, Sony Ericsson’s W880i was the unchallenged best seller, ranking No. 1 on Telia’s Top Ten List of mobile phone sales in April in Sweden. The list reflects the market battle between Sony Ericsson and Nokia – every other phone on the list comes from one of these mobile manufacturers. Nokia’s newest mobile, the N95, entered the list in April, capturing eighth place.

One out of three phones on the month’s Top Ten List was a 3G-enabled handset. Nine out of ten are camera phones and eight out of ten have an e-mail function and Mp3 music player.

"Top ten" in mobile phone sales in Telia stores in February 2007

03/06/2007 -- Sony Ericsson is selling well in Telia’s retail stores. Every other
mobile phone in the February Top Ten List comes from Sony Ericsson.
However, Nokia topped the list. Only one other mobile brand than Nokia
or Sony Ericsson made the February list – Samsung’s X-510 handset, which
came in ninth place.

Nine out of ten mobiles on the Top Ten List have a built-in camera.
Seven out of ten have a built-in Mp3 player and can be used for e-mail.
