SAN DIEGO, April 03, 2008 — Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and data solutions, today announced that it has acquired eight licenses in the U.S. Federal Communications Commission's 700 MHz spectrum auction at a total cost of $558.1 million. Qualcomm purchased licenses in the E block covering the Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco Economic Area regions. These licenses double Qualcomm's 700 MHz spectrum holdings throughout a footprint of more than 68 million people in 28 individual markets for MediaFLO USA's award-winning FLO TV™ service (21 of its top 100 markets) at a cost of $554.6 million. In addition, Qualcomm purchased three licenses on the B block at a cost of $3.5 million.
Qualcomm's E block licenses cover five of the nation's top seven Economic Area regions. These regions consist of large contiguous areas on the East and West Coasts, stretching from New Hampshire to Maryland and from Orange County to Northern California, respectively.

ESPN Mobile TV, ESPN’s first 24/7 channel for wireless, kicks off college football season on August 30 with live simulcast coverage of LSU vs. Mississippi State, which airs on ESPN at
8 p.m. ET. Throughout the season, ESPN Mobile TV, available through V CAST Mobile TV, a service of by MediaFLO USA, Inc., will simulcast more than 75 live college football games from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN360.com, as well as up to 20 college bowl games, including a tripleheader on December 31, and the Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day.
San Francisco and Foster City, CA – June 26, 2007 – CBS 5 (KPIX-TV), and Sling Media, Inc., a digital lifestyle products company, today announced the implementation of Slingbox technology combined with 3G wireless data and still video cameras to deliver live and still video feeds as well as live in-car broadcasts from around the Bay Area.
Currently, CBS 5 has 28 live cameras, all of which are supported by Slingbox technology. Seven out of nine bridges spanning the Bay Area have a camera, as do major thoroughfares and airports. CBS 5 uses live video from these cameras on air and can also make the reports available for viewing on the CBS 5 website (www.cbs5.com). CBS5.com also features live still views from all 28 cameras at any time via a desktop, laptop, or compatible mobile web browser.
