New York, NY, July 30, 2007 -- Gameloft®, a leading publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Paramount Pictures for world-wide rights to the mobile game inspired by the upcoming feature film, ”Beowulf” from Academy Award®-winning director Robert Zemeckis. Neil Gaiman & Roger Avary adapted the legend for the screen. The film is produced by Steve Starkey, Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke. The executive producers are Martin Shafer, Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman. Gameloft will develop, publish and distribute the game in over 75 countries.
Gameloft®, a publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, today announced it has signed a multi-year agreement with 20th Century Fox™ to develop, publish and distribute Live Free or Die Hard, the official mobile game of the highly anticipated sequel to the famous film series. The game will be exclusive to the mobile platform and will launch worldwide shortly before Live Free or Die Hard’s theatrical release on June 27th, 2007.
In the “Live Free or Die Hard” film, action star Bruce Willis reprises his role as John McClane, a heroic police officer determined to take on and neutralize terrorists at any cost. The mobile game’s storyline stays true to the feature film: a criminal plot targeting the nation’s computer infrastructure threatens the technological foundations of the U.S. economy.
