Recently announced Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for next generation rich media applications for the web. &lt;p&gt;Adobe Systems Incorporated and Chunghwa® Telecom have announced a partnership to deliver Adobe® FlashCast® technology to more than eight million subscribers in Taiwan. The new offering is expected to deliver rich data services across the Chunghwa Telecom network before the end of 2007.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Adobe FlashCast is designed to deliver rich, customized data services through a new generation of Adobe Flash® Player compatible mobile applications called channels. Chunghwa Telecom subscribers will be able to access multiple channels delivering news, entertainment, weather information, and more. A set of premium channels with content from leading media brands will offer information for specific groups and demographics.
