New Structure Designed to Accelerate Growth Trajectory

MobiTV, Inc., a provider of mobile and broadband television and music services, today announced an expanded management team structure designed to capitalize upon the burgeoning opportunities in the mobile entertainment industry that the Company has pioneered.

Dr. Phillip Alvelda, founder and chief executive officer, formally announced the appointment of co-founder Paul Scanlan, formerly chief operating officer, to the role of president, with responsibility for sales, business development, product management, marketing and content. Additionally, Dr. Alvelda announced the appointment of Bruce Gilpin, formerly chief strategy officer and interim chief financial officer, to the role of chief operating officer, with responsibility for the office of the chief technology officer, engineering, operations, IT and customer support. And finally, he announced the appointment of Bill Losch to the role of chief financial officer, to join soon with responsibility for finance and administration. Losch will join MobiTV from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc., where he serves as chief accounting officer.

MobiTV and Intel® Collaborate to Offer Live TV to Notebook and Mobile Internet Device Users

Two Market Leaders Kick-Off First Phase of Agreement at IDF

MobiTV, Inc., a leader in mobile and broadband television and music services, has announced a cooperation agreement with Intel Corporation. The two companies have agreed to work together to optimize the personal computing version of the MobiTV® service for use on Intel® Centrino® processor technology notebooks, Ultra Mobile Personal Computers (UMPCs) and Mobile Internet Devices (MID).

“We are pleased to announce this collaboration with Intel to deliver a live television service optimized for Intel Notebooks and the new category of Mobile Internet Devices,” said Ray DeRenzo, vice president of business development for MobiTV. “MobiTV and Intel will work with the OEMs to deliver a true out-of-the-box television experience.”
