Symbian OS is the global market-leading open mobile operating system for smartphones.

The FOMA D705i, a “One-segment” terrestrial broadcasting handset with slim sliding body, and the FOMA FOMA D705iμ, a super-slim straight handset with metallic body, are manufactured by Symbian customer Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, and includes the MOAP® platform compliant with the latest FOMA specifications.

Symbian continues to focus on delivering a flexible, robust and open mobile operating system which gives handset manufacturers and network operators the ability to develop differentiated phones, faster, more easily and at lower cost for different market segments and regions. Alltel’s Wireless Internet to provide high-speed data services; EVDO technology delivers speeds comparable to cable or DSL
