Vodafone Germany: Düsseldorf Jazz Rally 2006: Sasha concert on Vodafone Mobile TV

Düsseldorf, 22. May 2006. German pop star Sasha's new album is called "Open Waters"- and Vodafone customers will soon be able experience both Sasha and his band up close. As main sponsor of this year's Jazz Rally, Vodafone has engaged the popular artist as top act at the two-day music festival in Düsseldorf. Anyone who can't make it to the concert on 2 June at the LTU Hangar should switch on their UMTS phone, because the Sasha concert will be on Mobile TV for one whole week starting on the morning of Saturday 3 June 2006.Vodafone is sponsoring the Jazz Rally for the second time this year - and once again it has put together a fitting 'music special' for mobile phone users. The biggest highlight on Mobile TV is definitely the Sasha concert. Sasha fans who didn't get a ticket for the concert in Düsseldorf or aren't able to make it can enjoy the concert in their own four walls by calling up Sasha onto their mobile phone display. On the morning after the concert, Saturday 3 June 2006, the previous evening's event will be broadcast on one of the basic channels on Vodafone Mobile TV. Vodafone customers with a UMTS phone simply switch on their phone, select Mobile TV, lean back and enjoy the concert. Sasha and his band's concert will be on air for a whole week and users can watch it whenever they like and as often as they like.

Past and present Sasha songs are also available as Vodafone Music Downloads. The MP3 files are downloaded to a suitable music phone for further listening enjoyment. There are also Vodafone Ring-Up Tones and Real Music Ring Tones with the melodies of Sasha's recent hits.
