Autonomy's Content Classification and Indexing Capabilities Enhance Openwave's New Personalization and Profiling System

(Nasdaq: OPWV) has signed an agreement with Autonomy to integrate IDOL platform's advanced content classification and indexing capabilities into the recently announced Openwave® Personalization and Profiling System (OPPS).

OPPS, an end-to-end solution, is designed to help mobile operators deliver a relevant, personalized user experience across networks and devices. OPPS will also provide the ability for operators to customize their subscribers' experience based on a historical view of previous activity in combination with a consolidated view of each individual subscriber's demographic and subscription information.Autonomy's technology, which forms a conceptual and contextual understanding of any piece of electronic data including unstructured information, be it text, email, voice or video, will support Openwave's system with advanced content classification and the indexing of premium content to enhance the delivery of personalized and relevant content.
