Orange Teams With Radio FG To Enhance Its Music Services

Paris, January 24, 2008 -- Orange has teamed up with Radio FG to offer its mobile and Internet customers exclusive editorial and musical content. Thanks to this partnership Orange customers can now listen to Radio FG live on their mobile via hertzian broadcast or Internet on their Liveradio.

They can also access Radio FG podcasts every week on orange.fr in the music section or on their mobile. Each month, music fans will also find new playlists specially designed for them by editorial teams at Radio FG. They will be able to download them from the Internet or their mobile.

Finally, Radio FG and Orange will provide music creators and fans with a space entirely devoted to music thanks to the Orange community sites, Soundtribes and Pikeo.

Developed by Orange, Soundtribes (www.soundtribes.com) allows self-producing artists to create their personal Internet space, upload their music and videos, and develop their social network. The Orange-Radio FG partnership makes Soundtribes the official platform for the search for new talent on the FG Recordings label. Soundtribes users will soon have a space to promote their MP3, create their own ringtones and sell them in France, the UK and in Spain via SMS premium.

The partnership between Orange and Radio FG goes beyond the field of music: the Orange community service, Pikeo, becomes the official photo storage site for Radio FG. Radio FG listeners will be able to share their photos of major music events throughout 2008. The site, Pikeo (www.pikeo.com) open to all, enables users to easily share their photos from the web or their mobile phone.

To continue providing more and more content to users, Orange relies on the expertise of well-established partners like Radio FG. With more than 350,000 listeners a day in France and more than 70 in-house DJs, FG is the only radio station to play the best known artists in house, electronic music & RNB. Radio FG is also known as a discoverer of new talent, a characteristic that Orange will add to with its experience in community platforms.

Orange is also a partner of the MIDEM, the international forum of the musical industry, which opens in Cannes this Sunday, January 27th. This year, Orange supports the « Talent Only » program, which focuses on the discovery and development of new music artists. For the first time, a place will be specially dedicated to the showcase of new talents: the Orange Magic Mirror. During a big concert on Monday evening, January 28th, Orange will present 4 artists that were discovered through its platforms.
