Richard Metcalf appointed as Director of Media and Entertainment to head up MIG Media division in UK Market; Phil Carroll appointed as Account Manager to develop Wholesale customer relationships

Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), a UK provider of multi media mobile interactive services, has appointed Richard Metcalf as Director of Entertainment and Media: His role will focus primarily on maintaining and building stronger relationships within the media industry.

Before joining MIG Richard spent 6 yrs at Minick as Director of Business Development, where he developed an extensive portfolio of contacts including Hit 40 UK, Sony, Ministry of Sound, Party Gaming and Channel 4, managing the text services for Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother through 05 - 06. Richard, a qualified solicitor, has 7 yrs mobile industry experience under his belt.

His appointment will involve the development of MIGs current media client portfolio in building stronger relationships, positioning MIG as the market leader in the media and entertainment sector: Additionally he will also be driving the business forward in other areas including Mobile Marketing and MIGs CRM offering.

In the Wholesale arena, Phil Carroll, whose industry experience spans 10 yrs in the mobile industry, positions him well for his new role at MIG as Account Manager in the Wholesale division. His primary role will be to promote MIGs Billing products and solutions, including MIGPay™ and MIGs core high speed messaging infrastructure to an extensive roster of new and existing clients.

Prior to joining MIG Phil worked at Netsize, fulfilling the role of Sales Account Manager where he promoted the sales of their SMS Applications. His client base included Interactive Voice Technology, Sales Promotional Agencies and On Demand Distribution, a digital music download company.
