A hip, new pay-as-you-go cell phone and wireless service made from a kid's point of view launched this month by kajeet™ (www.kajeet.com) leverages technology from Telcordia (www.telcordia.com) and enables families to safely explore the exciting new world of mobile technology. Serving the "tween," 8 to 15-year-old market, kajeet's, kid-friendly pay-as-you-go approach uses the market leading Telcordia Hosted Solution for MVNOs, part of the Telcordia Service Delivery Suite. Its leading-edge interactive voice, data and value-added services give children the mobile communications they want with the features that parents desire as well. * WalletManager, which allows kids and parents to determine who pays for what -- talk time or text messaging;
* ContactManager, which can be used to establish who can or can't call or text the kajeet phone; and
* TimeManager, which lets kids and parents decide when the phone can and cannot be used (such as no calls or texts during school).
