The music discovery engine is already available with the Sony Ericsson W850i."We are pleased to reinforce our strong relationship with Musiwave with this latest deployment. As demand for music services continues to increase, we hope to introduce more and more innovative services and products to music fans in the UK," said Richard Wheeler, head of music partnerships, Orange UK. "Its great to be able to offer our users the Musiwave-powered music store. Not only does our new music store provide users with comprehensive packaged music content, but it is all done through a user-friendly portal."
"Earlier this year Orange France launched its interactive, streaming radio service, Music Cast, based on Musiwave's Smart Radio technology. With this latest win, Musiwave now serves in numerous Orange territories across Europe, enabling its users to enjoy their favorite music, on-the-go," said Guillaume Decugis, vice president, Musiwave. "Musiwave continues to be a trusted Orange partner, and our services are now live in nine countries where Orange operates: France, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and the UK."
Musiwave provides mobile music entertainment services to over 30 mobile operators in 25 countries. Musiwave's Music Discovery Engine is a first generation on-device-portal for music lovers devoted to delivering a music service via mobile phones.
